Why do I need a bore snake?
When dealing with a very dirty barrel, after applying RifleCX Barrel Foam and flushing it with Gun Cleaner or Care Spray, it’s highly recommended to run a bore snake through the barrel at least twice.
This helps remove any remaining fouling and dries out residual cleaner—especially useful if you don’t have cleaning patches on hand.
The bore snake should always be inserted from the chamber and pulled out toward the muzzle.
Always pull it straight through the barrel—pulling at an angle may damage the barrel crown.
